Our Mission

Greenbrier Pregnancy Center is a

Christ-centered ministry committed to upholding the sanctity of human life and sharing the love and hope of Jesus Christ through compassionate, nonjudgmental help to women and men in areas of pregnancy, post-abortion trauma and purity. We accomplish this with Biblical counseling, education, and free services and resources from conception through infant care.

About the Center

Location

We are exploring an agreement with WV Helping Hands for space and services that they are already planning to establish at the refurbished hospital in Ronceverte. Their future pilot program is designed to help temporarily displaced people who need help getting back on their own feet and would coincide with our objectives to help pregnant moms. We are looking to be mutually beneficial. This facility will provide the community with: administrative offices, counseling offices, classrooms (multiple), a resource center, laundry, boutique (living and caretaking items), and a dining room.

Planned Services

The Greenbrier Pregnancy Center will provide multiple different services including:

  • Pregnancy Testing

  • Ultrasound (sonogram) of the uterus with pictures and medical consultation by a qualified RDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) and physicians in the near future

  • Education on carrying the baby to term, the option of adoption, and the abortion risks (will not perform or recommended)

  • Educational programs

  • Personal and spiritual counsel

  • Group meetings and Bible study

  • Post-abortion counseling

  • Supplies, equipment, and clothing for pregnancy and natal care

  • Fatherhood programs

  • Earn while you learn program

  • Referral agency options

  • Pre and post-natal care peer counseling and Biblical counseling
